A USEFUL FIRST MESSAGE

Give your enquiry a clear starting point.

Use an email address you check regularly. Include your name, organisation if applicable, country, and a clear question or proposal. For time-sensitive enquiries, include the date and time zone.

  1. Identify the topic and subject in the email title, for example “Nomination enquiry — Dr Chen — Canada”.
  2. Give a short account of the background, followed by the points you would like to discuss.
  3. Use public links for supporting evidence. Ask about an appropriate channel before sharing non-public material.

BEFORE YOU WRITE

Common questions

Can I write in Chinese?

You may write in Chinese or English. Specify the relevant country or region when applicable; the language you use does not determine your award country.

Should I email first or complete the nomination form?

If you can describe the contribution and provide supporting evidence, use the nomination page to prepare your information. If you are unsure about the scope or suitability, start with a nomination enquiry.

Can I pay the USD 499 nomination fee now?

The published nomination fee is USD 499, but the website does not yet accept payment. Timing, the unit of application, taxes and refund terms are still to be announced. Do not email credit card details.

Does sending an email confirm a shortlist place?

No. General enquiries, preliminary nominations, formal eligibility, shortlisting and awards are distinct stages. Formal conditions and procedures will be published separately.

How do I add to an earlier enquiry?

Reply in the original email thread, identify the nominee and highlight additions or corrections. For long initial submissions, attach a text document and include public evidence links.
